Of the River
I enjoyed the hospitality of George's very good friends Gene and Mary Poole. That's right, his name is Gene Poole. And it gets better; he's a biology teacher.
As we drove to dinner, I got a little tour of old town Del Rio. I was surprised at how much charming old architecture it has. I thought it would be a crappy border town, but it's kind of a little San Antonio.
